DevOps / Cloud Engineer

Build and run the secure, highly-available cloud infrastructure behind Bondap's SaaS platform.

You'll own provisioning, deployment and monitoring across our multi-cloud estate (G-Cloud, AWS, Azure and OVH), keeping our up-to-99.99% uptime promise. This is a part-time role of around 5 hours per week, with flexibility around the agreed pattern. As you'll work with systems handling sensitive data, discretion and a strong sense of accountability are essential.

Key responsibilities

  • Provision and manage infrastructure across G-Cloud, AWS, Azure and OVH
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automation
  • Monitor availability, performance and security, and respond to incidents
  • Manage dedicated, isolated client instances and containers
  • Support disaster recovery (1h RPO / 4h RTO) and backups
  • Harden systems to ISO 27001 and the NCSC 14 Cloud Security Principles

Essential experience & skills

  • Solid experience as a DevOps, Cloud or Platform Engineer
  • Hands-on with AWS, Azure or OVH and containerisation
  • Infrastructure-as-code and CI/CD automation
  • Linux administration and networking
  • Eligibility to live and work in the UK
  • Willingness and ability to obtain clearance (BPSS, SC or higher)

Desirable experience

  • Multi-cloud and high-availability architectures
  • Kubernetes / Docker
  • Experience in regulated or public-sector environments
  • Existing security clearance (BPSS, SC or higher)
